WELCOME TO NORTH BERWICK PLAYGROUP
About Us
North Berwick Playgroup is a community playgroup run by a highly professional and fun team.
All our staff have a wealth of early years childcare qualifications and experience. The staff are supported by a committee made up of parents/carers of children at the Playgroup.
Days & Times
We follow East Lothian Council school term dates. Our sessions are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings:
9.30am - 11.25am.
Children aged 2 & 3 (up until 4th Birthday).
Alternative Fridays available for children at school nursery.
Our Aims
Our primary aims are:
provide children with a range of activities to explore and learn through play
provide children with the opportunity to experience outdoor play sessions
encourage resilient, confident, independent and creative learners
provide a safe, caring and nurturing environment
support the needs of individual children and their families

Learning Through Play
At N.B Playgroup the children are free to play however they wish. We have a large playroom with a wide variety of activities available, based on the wishes and interests of the children.These include a home corner, painting, crafts, dressing up, jigsaws, baking, music and singing, soft play, story time and water play. We also have a lovely outdoor playground, with a mud kitchen, sandpits and opportunities for climbing and exploring nature . A healthy snack is provided during each session.
